10- Days Classic Wildlife Safari Uganda
Overview: Described by Sir Winston Churchill as the “Pearl of Africa”,
Uganda is one of this vast continent’s best kept secrets, where the jungles of
West Africa meet the savannahs of East Africa. Kibale Forest is home to
some of the greatest primate varieties, many habituated for guests to trek.
Lying between Lake Edward and Lake George is the lush savannah of the
Queen Elizabeth National Park. And of course coming face-to-face with
endangered mountain gorilla in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is the highlight
of any visit to Uganda.
Day 1: Airport pick up.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport just outside Uganda’s capital city Kampala, you will be welcomed by a representative from Vivid
Adventure Safaris Ltd and transferred to your lodge.

Day2: Transfer to Kibale National Park.
After early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park. Keep an eye out for black-and-white colobus monkeys you continue the scenic
drive to the lodge, which is set on a crater lake against a backdrop of high peaks.

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking- Bigodi nature walk
After breakfast the today, head into Kibale National head park offices for chimpanzee tracking briefing. This tropical rain forest harbors 13 different
primate species, including chimpanzees, black-and white Columbus, red tailed and blue monkeys, and the rare l’Hoest’s monkey. After a morning of
chimpanzee tracking, you will have lunch and in the after you will take a short walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, on the lookout for primates,
butterflies, and some 200 species of birds. Later, a resident primatologist joins us for a special talk.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a high concentration of Uganda’s mammals, as well as more than 600 species of birds.

Day 5: Game drive-Afternoon Boat trip on Kazinga channel
After an early breakfast, you will go for a guided early game drive in Kisenyi plains where you hopefully will see lions and other large mammals.
After the morning safari, you will have lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat tour on the Kazinga Channel where you will see
hippo, crocodile, buffalo, elephant and a variety of other large animals that come to the river to drink. You will most likely also see an incredible variety of birds. After the boat trip, you drive back to your lodge.

Day 6: Tree lions - Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest.
Leave the park via the southern plains of Ithaca, known for tree-climbing lions. Stop to view wildlife and enjoy a picnic lunch as you travel towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. In the thick forests that blanket the hills of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, roughly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas make a home alongside rare birds and a wealth of other
wildlife.

Day 7: Gorilla tracking.
Early this morning, head out with park rangers to track mountain gorillas. Sit among these gentle giants, observing their interactions, listening to their
distinctive grumbles, and viewing one of the planet’s most endangered creatures from an awe-inspiring, up-close perspective. Time permitting, you may go for an afternoon walk to waterfalls set amid tree ferns and orchids, or pay a visit to a nearby village and watch a dance performance by the
Batwa Pygmies.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo national park, the smallest in size in Uganda. You will reach at the lodge in time of lunch, after lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive in search of beautiful zebras, elands, Cape buffalos, impalas, oribi and topi. Along with Game drives, many visitors enjoy boat trips on Lake Mburo. The park is a good opportunity for bird watchers who will spot over 250 species of birds.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe
Today after breakfast, you will go for a guided nature walk. Later, you will start your journey to Kampala with en route lunch and stop over at the equator. You will be transferred to Entebbe. Accommodation: Hotel Number 5 or Similar

Day 10: Airport transfer.
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
Depending on your flight time, you may go for an optional visit to the Botanical gardens or for Behind the scenes.
